Any household ways to try and get rid of a cold sore?

Hey! I’ve had a cold all weekend, and now I’m starting to get a cold sore. It’s only small right now but I can tell it’s going to get really big, and I need it to be as small as possible because I’m at work next weekend. Does anyone know any methods to try and speed up the healing process without any branded medicines? I don’t really have time to go to the shops and buy anything, with all the Christmas shoppers, so would love if anyone could tell me any ways to help with home items. Thanks! Is it possible to heal or at least shrink an unruptered brain Aneurysm?

I’ve always wondered & been curious about the brain & been curious as to whether it has the power to heal Itself physically as well as healing the body. I always believe that the body has healing powers through remedies such as daily meditation so would there be remedies like this to heal an unrupted aneurysm? Does the brain have the power to heal Itself? What do you think? Surgery used to be the only option to repair a brain aneurysm (It will not heal itself). But, over the last 10-15 years, endovascular treatment that is done through a catheter (tube) that is usually inserted in the leg has allowed for most aneurysms to be treated with very little side effects and much shorter recovery. Most patients go home the next day. If you or someone you knows has a brain aneurysm, they should see an interventional neuroradiologist or endovascular neurosurgeon to be evaluated for these procedures.

What do you think about alternative methods of healing of incurable diseases?

I mean healing with the help of Reiki Hi, I am now in remission from an incurable auto-immune disease. I tried almost everything and spent a lot of money. Reiki helped short-term but more for de-stressing. I think you have to "clean out" everything physical and emotional in your life. Eat really well, take supplements, exercise in the fresh air, and write down a list every evening of all the things you are grateful for in your life. Forgive people you feel anger towards..that anger is just rebounding on yourself and blocking your well-being. Meditation is as good as Reiki and you can do it yourself with a few basic lessons. Keep on any medications and do all this as well. Good luck!

Stress/anger/depression help?

I have been dealing with anger my whole life my stress about school and life triggers my anger which then makes me depressed I get so frustrated with my life I feel like I can do anything right and I won’t be able to accomplish my goals and feel like its to late to accomplish my dreams/goals, aswell from that I have been being such a jerk to my friends and classmates and they been acting mean back to me. What gemstone do u all recommend for grounding and being in reality?

In terms of crystal healing, what can i use to help my problem of being in my own mind so much, always in axiety so much so that i have become lost in my own mind and thoughts. not sure about a gemstone for it, but try tai chi or meditation. you could also use a smoothed out river bed pebble, held to your navel with a cloth. the key isn’t so much that you need to be in your own mind less, it’s that your mind isn’t your mind at all. that is the real problem. you aren’t unique in that regard, we all have that issue. even me. i’m working on a solution, but it’s hard because i not only have to be subtle with it, i also have to free enough people to make an impact.

Why is meditation supposedly helpful for depression?

I’ve not had an easy life, and it’s catching up with me. My doctor and basically every mental health resource ever keeps recommending that I try meditation, but I don’t see why that would help at all. If I’m depressed because I feel isolated, resentful towards myself, and hopeless, why would sitting silently with my eyes closed for ten minutes make me feel better? It just intuitively feels stupid. But if there is indeed some benefit I’m overlooking, I suppose it might be worth a try. Meditation isn’t about closing your eyes and sitting silently. There is a process involved with it so you may want to do some more research and get some cd’s to help you. The library usually has some which are good because not all of them will appeal to you. For example some voices drive me nutty and I can’t relax because of it.
